Does a Level 2 Report include a valuation?
The option to include a current market valuation of the property as well as a reinstatement cost for building insurance is an option you may wish to add to your Homebuyer Report. At the time of booking your report you can confirm your additional requirements.
Note that the valuation may differ to your agreed price if there are multiple and/or expensive repairs necessary. You may then be able to use the report to renegotiate the price or maybe to consider if you would wish to proceed with the purchase.
What is the turnaround time period to receive the survey?
Following the survey inspection having been carried out our target is provide your Homebuyer Report (Level 2) within three working days.
A copy of the report will be sent to you via email as a PDF document. We can also email a copy direct to your Legal Adviser if required.
